Hypnotherapy and Counselling in Peterborough and surrounding areas,
We don’t have to stay within the constraints of our belief system. Making a decision to change our thinking can be the beginning of a healthier, happier, more successful life.
I help people achieve personal satisfaction and peace of mind by helping them to control anxiety, stress and panic attacks. By using Hypnotherapy to create a state of relaxation and promoting a feeling of well being, I may be help you to control fears, phobias and break bad habits, replacing them with good, positive behavior.
For example, changing our attitudes towards food is the key to a long-term healthy weight. Diets work short term because our conscious mind is in play. Hypnotherapy can access our subconscious mind and change the way we think about food and create healthier attitudes towards food and lifestyle which will result in long-term weight loss.
I have experience working with children and young people, as well as parents of children with difficulties, helping them to cope with consequences of living with the constant stress of their child’s disabilities, disorders, and subsequent grief. I am DBS checked and I have some knowledge of Sign language. I am studying BSL level one at the moment. My work placement has been with Little Miracles, a charity working with families facing seemingly insurmountable challenges. Following my work placement, I was honored to be asked to join Little Miracles as one of their Counsellors and this work is Continuing. My work is varied and immensely rewarding,
I have a background in adoption and fostering and as a result I have 25yrs experience of helping children and young people with difficulties. I have extended my training by doing a Chrysalis training on Hypnotherapy for children.
